This global supply chain management company provides a wide range of services including logistics, warehousing, and transportation. This company operates in various industries such as automotive, consumer goods, defence, and utilities, with a presence in India, the UK, Europe and the US.
In your new role as a Business Development Manager, you will work within the Sales Team and will report directly to the Head of Sales. This is an exciting role which involves the pursuit and delivery of profitable revenue growth through lead generation, proactive sales and establishment and maintenance of customer networks. You will also have full responsibility for the planning and execution of business development strategies.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent field
Minimum of 5 years in the Logistics & Freight Forwarding industry
Specific skills with CRM
In-depth market knowledge of the Logistics or Freight Forwarding Industry
Strong business writing and negotiation skills
A sound understanding of leveraging a sales process to uncover customer needs, present appropriate solutions and close business
Strong client and vendor relationship management skills
