About the Job
There is an exciting opportunity with the Sustainability and Resource Recovery team for a Coordinator Sustainability and Resource Recovery. This role supports the implementation of the Shire’s Sustainability and Resource Recovery Program and delivers programs consistent with the Council Plan. This role coordinates all aspects of waste management with a primary focus on promoting positive environmental outcomes and driving waste management practices that minimise landfilling. The position is responsible for the monitoring and implementation of the requirements of legislation, regulations and licence conditions relating to the area of responsibility.
