Your New Role

• Leading by example in safety practices and personal accountability.
• Collaborating with the leadership team and the community to achieve the client's strategic vision.
• Undertaking specialist natural area and waterway management, including revegetation, habitat and fire management, water quality monitoring, and wildlife management.
• Assisting with environmental projects and educational events, such as National Tree Day, Eco Fiesta, and Clean Up Australia Day.
• Operating and maintaining specialised equipment such as aquatic weed harvesters, fire units, and 4x4 vehicles.
• Contributing to construction work, including fencing, firebreak construction, and signage erection.
• Liaising with community groups and delivering exceptional customer service to enhance environmental education and engagement.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management.
• Relevant licences, including a Queensland Manual "C" Class Driver’s Licence, Recreational Boat Licence, and Agricultural Chemical Distribution Control Licence.
• Expertise in natural area and waterway management, including revegetation and fire management.
• Knowledge of environmental services maintenance practices and procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership in workplace safety and compliance.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining specialised equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Experience driving 4x4 vehicles and reversing with trailers.
