Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week)
The role:
Council is looking to for a general labourer to assist with the day-to-day operational tasks of the Livestock & Equine facilities to ensure the needs of the venue and users are met efficiently and effectively.
The role will operate a range of equipment including hand tools, power tools, ride on lawn mowers and tractors whilst providing effective caretaking of facilities/venues including general maintenance and cleaning.
What’s on offer:
- $1064.90 - to $1192.70 per 38 hour week + 11.5% super + weekly operational staff allowance + potential overtime and the opportunity for salary progression
- Christmas break shut down and no mandatory public holiday work
- A true 38 hour working week, Monday – Friday working week with the opportunity to access overtime if desired

What we need from you:
To succeed in this role, you must hold a class C drivers licence and have experience in caretaking facilities/venues. You will have a passion for customer service and have a high level commitment to WHS regulations and safe work practices.
You will also have the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team. The role may be required to be available for on-call, call-out, after hours and weekend work.
