Junior IT Support Technician

Your new company

A bespoke IT consulting firm based in Brisbane is seeking a permanent full-time Junior IT Support Technician to join their team. This role will be hands-on and include computer configuration, general office duties, and basic user support. The ideal candidate will have the willingness to grow into a more complex, client-facing role.

Your new role

Some of your day-to-day duties will include:

• Configure, install, and troubleshoot desktop computers and peripheral devices
• Provide first-level support via phone, email, or remote access
• Assist in preparing and deploying standard software environments
• Maintain asset records and assist with office organisation
• Perform basic Microsoft 365 user setup and troubleshooting
• Work closely with senior technicians and support project work
• Document internal procedures and IT processes

What you'll need to succeed

• Basic troubleshooting knowledge of Windows-based systems and common software
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to follow documentation and contribute to team knowledge
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn
• Exposure to Active Directory or Azure AD
• Any prior work or internship in IT support
