Our client, one of the prominent financial organisation are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for documenting existing workflows, understanding and capturing payment calculations, and ensuring accurate documentation of various scenarios and logic.
Your new role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for documenting existing workflows, understanding and capturing payment calculations, and ensuring accurate documentation of various scenarios and logic.
This role may not directly involve requirements gathering but focuses on documenting and cleaning up existing processes for example analyze and document the calculation methods for Long Service Leave, considering different jurisdictions and periods.
Document Existing Workflows: Capture and document how payments are calculated for payroll purposes.
Scenario Documentation: Identify and document various scenarios to ensure accurate payment calculations.
Logic and Workflow Documentation: Clearly document the logic and workflows involved in payroll processes.
Jira Board Cleanup: Perform housekeeping tasks and cleanup of the Jira board to ensure it is up-to-date and organized.
Database Information: Access and utilize information from databases as needed.
Collaboration with SMEs: Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather necessary information and insights.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Payroll Business Analyst or similar role.
Strong understanding of payroll processes and calculations.
Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with Jira and database management.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with SMEs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
