An exciting temporary four-year full-time opportunity exists for a Project Surveyor, to join our fast-paced team in carrying out land and engineer surveys for project and works for the city. If you have a passion and possess a sharp eye for surveying join our dynamic team to delivery surveys in our world heritage city.
The position will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and successful completion of construction and maintenance works. This role provides a wide range of surveying and spatial services across the City for the Blue Mountains LGA to facilitate design, engineering, construction and cadastral requirements for all sections of Council.
We are seeking candidates that take pride in their work, have a positive attitude, are punctual, reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The candidate will bring the following to the role:
• Diploma in Surveying recognized by the Institute of Surveyors NSW.
• Demonstrated experience in delivery of land and engineering surveys as defined by the Surveying and Spatial Information Act 2002
• Previous work experience in implementing Survey General Directions for projects and works
• Demonstrated experience in projects and works in the use of multiple suite specialized surveying equipment and analysis of data sets
• High level of knowledge and experience in the use of modern technology and software, and adjustment programs
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team and prioritization of work
• High level of oral and written communication skills with sound interpersonal skills in liaising with key stakeholders to resolve issues to deliver effective survey services
• A Current Class C Driver’s license
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $80,136 gross per annum
+ 11.5% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary (if eligible)
+ annual award increase
