We are seeking a Senior Store person to join our small, dynamic team. The successful candidate will report to the Branch Coordinator in Hemmant. This hands-on role requires someone who can set an example in safety, punctuality, and reliability.
Your new role
Assist with inventory management, including tracking and documenting the movement of materials.
Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
Assisting the Branch Manager to lead a small team
Manual load and unload of containers at times
Ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
What you'll need to succeed
Valid forklift licence
Automatic open car licence
Proven experience as a forklift operator/storeperson
Experience running a small team (1-3 people). Advantageous
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
