Our Parks crews proudly look after our cemeteries, parks, reserves, picnic areas and amenities, making sure they look their best for the community and visitors to enjoy. The team love what they do each day and need someone who will lean in and provide daily guidance and support.
As the Team Leader – Parks, you'll be the driving force behind the maintenance and development of our recreational and public spaces. You'll coordinate and supervise a team of skilled General Hands, ensuring our parks are always in top-notch condition. From overseeing maintenance and repairs, to leading exciting new construction projects, your role will be diverse and impactful.
About You
You know how to keep public spaces looking great and can motivate and lead a team to get the job done. You're good at organising tasks and making sure everything runs smoothly, whether it's maintenance or new projects.
Use your strong leadership skills and your ability to inspire and motivate your team. You should have a knack for organising and prioritising tasks, ensuring everything runs smoothly. A commitment to safety, customer service, and continuous improvement is also crucial.
You will come to work with a ‘can do’ attitude and a preparedness to ‘walk the talk’.
