Asset Inspection Engineer | 3 Month Local Government Contract

Hays Recruitment is hiring an Asset Management Engineer to work with a Local Government council on a 3 month contract.

Your key responsibilities
- Assist with data capture, condition assessment, and asset system maintenance
- Update and upload infrastructure data for council records
- Maintain and utilise asset management databases and electronic record systems
- Support the team in achieving optimised asset management outcomes
- Ensure data accuracy and proper setup of data capture devices
- Follow council’s communication protocol when engaging with the public
- Notify maintenance supervisors in case of extreme potential threats

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in asset management, data collection, or GIS systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with digital databases
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
