Digital Campaign and Social Media Advisor

• 8-months Fixed Term Contract, ASAP start (parental leave cover)

• $97k + super salary

• Full-time, 5 days per week, hybrid.

• Outer northern Melbourne suburbs office location

Your new company

This Council is one of Australia's fastest-growing and culturally-diverse communities. The City is located in Melbourne’s northern fringe. It is made up of a vibrant mix of contrasts including new and established residential areas, major industrial and commercial precincts and vast expanses of rural areas and parkland.

Your new role

This is a key role for Council, as it interfaces with a number of key departments to manage and deliver significant digital campaigns. The role supports a range of large events including Winter Lights festival, their Christmas event and an Active Living (e.g. leisure centres, swimming pools) consultation project, and smaller day to day campaigns.

What you'll need to succeed

• Significant digital campaign and content management experience (web, social, newsletters)

• Able to plan and deliver strategies for comms campaigns

• Social media management (publishing, posting etc) and moderation.

• Stakeholder management is really important, so skills in this are essential.

• Council experience great but not required
