• Manage site-based accounting functions including cost tracking, month-end reporting, and financial analysis
• Translate and interpret financial documents and communications between Mandarin and English
• Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Support audits and maintain accurate records of capital and operational expenditures
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA preferred)
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in the mining sector
• Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
• Strong understanding of cost accounting
• Experience with Xero and mid-tier mine site accounting systems (e.g., Pronto Lite, Pulse) is highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
• Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness
