You will oversee the Outsourced CFO and Bookkeeping team, ensuring workflow is efficiently allocated, reviewed, and delivered on time and within budget. You’ll play a key role in client onboarding, implementing bookkeeping practices, and mentoring staff to achieve excellence. Additionally, you will build strong relationships with clients, providing strategic financial solutions that help enhance business performance and growth.


Your new role

Manage the Outsourced CFO and Bookkeeping team, ensuring high-quality, timely, and accurate service delivery

Provide ongoing support, training needs, performance reviews, and development planning for team members (onshore & offshore)

Lead onboarding & relationship management of new clients

Serve as a point of escalation for client queries and complex bookkeeping challenges

Gain a deep understanding of each client’s business and industry to deliver tailored support

Manage end-to-end bookkeeping services including payroll, BAS, and management reporting

Coordinate and review payroll for clients (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)


What you'll need to succeed

6+ years of experience in a Senior Bookkeeping/Outsourced Finance client-facing role

Proven ability to manage a team (ideally with experience managing an offshore team)

Diploma in Accounting, Business, or Finance (or similar)

Proficient in APS, Microsoft Office, and Xero

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
