About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Advisor Forecasting (Digital & Improvement) to help improve and lead technology solutions for our 3 to 15-month quarterly forecasting process. You’ll report to the Manager of Forecasting and focus on driving digital and process improvements, supporting planning teams, and aligning operations across the value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and advise on improvements to our forecasting systems
  • Develop better tools and processes for more accurate forecasting
  • Drive delivery of digital projects that help our planning teams perform better
  • Share expertise on planning tools and techniques
  • Work closely with digital teams and form project groups as needed
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through coaching and feedback
  • Ensure our planning aligns with operations across the business
  • Support cross-functional teams and broader business strategies
  • Help resolve issues and competing priorities that affect forecasting
  • Advise on technical or commercial impacts throughout the supply chain

What You’ll Bring:

Where you’ll be working

This role will be based at our Operations Centre in Perth. This role is offered on a 5 days on, 2 days off weekly roster, with flexibility where required.

Our integrated iron ore network is supported by our Operations Centre (OC) in Perth, a state-of-the-art facility that enables all the autonomous trucks, trains and drills at our mines, ports and rail systems to be operated from a single location. The Centre incorporates visualisation and collaboration tools to provide real-time information across our demand chain and allows us to optimise our mining, maintenance and logistic activities across the Pilbara in a way never before possible. Located near the Perth domestic airport, the OC operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to coordinate our integrated network of mines, rail, and ports from 1,500km away.
