You will be reporting directly to the CEO, based at our client's head office in Perth. • Manage technical programs as a precursor to feasibility study completion.
  • Investigate and develop opportunities to optimise the current project configuration.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad-hoc technical studies at the site as required.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for the project, aligning with industry standards and requirements.

Ideal Candidate

  • Background in Mining Engineering with a strong focus on project management rather than operational roles.
  • Expertise in cost modelling and mining optimisations.
  • Proven experience leading feasibility studies, ideally for underground mining projects in WA.
  • Nickel mining experience is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with project control systems and server-based data/information management.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, overseeing projects, managing technical programs, and coordinating with external providers (e.g., mining consultants).
  • Skilled in managing a project from feasibility through to commissioning and operational handover.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong team-oriented approach with a collaborative mindset.
  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in mining project management.

If you are a driven and experienced mining professional looking to lead a key study for a major nickel project, we invite you to apply and be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of their business.
