Location: Darwin

Salary: $135K - $145K PA + Super

Are you passionate about driving impactful policy initiatives and fostering community-led development? We are seeking a Strategic Policy Lead to shape and guide policy frameworks that promote sustainable opportunities for Aboriginal communities and businesses.

Your new role

Based in Darwin and reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for developing evidence-based, solution-focused policy strategies that align with organisational objectives. This role will require strategic engagement with key stakeholders to influence policy directions and support Aboriginal self-determination.

• Leading policy development and strategic planning to support community-led initiatives.
• Managing stakeholder relationships to influence broader policy discussions.
• Drafting and coordinating key reports, including annual reports and corporate plans.
• Preparing for Senate Estimates hearings and other high-level policy briefings.

• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and policy development.
• A deep commitment to empowering Aboriginal communities.
• The ability to work in fast-paced, strategic environments.
