Your new role
As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production of custom cabinetry and joinery, and be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery to ensure the precise cutting, shaping and finishing of materials according to design specifications.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality components for residential projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Set up and calibrate machines for each job, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
What you'll need to succeed
The skills below are required to ensure you are able to maintain the expectations of the role:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator, working within cabinetry or joinery.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced role with a problem-solving mindset.
- Can do attitude and great work ethic.
