This role is focused on a large-scale greenfield project that encompasses medium-density housing, house and land packages, community infrastructure such as schools, sports grounds, retail precincts etc.


Your new role

Reporting to the State Manager-ACT, you will be instrumental in the overall management from conception to completion of a flagship development across Canberra and surrounds. You will have the opportunity to manage projects that relate to Greenfield townships, for the purpose of. Specifics of the role are below:

  • You will be principally responsible for the project delivery by adhering to the program and budget.
  • Planning from concept to completion, tracking development
  • Responsible for managing project conceptual design, through to amendments and final design approval
  • Manage the procurement process and contract administration for works delivery
  • Liaising with various internal and external stakeholders, including relevant councils
  • Responsible for project strategy, design and construction methodologies
  • Management of project sales and marketing strategies
  • Oversight of commissioning, settlement and handover upon project completion
  • Manage authority handovers of all public assets within NSW and management of the preparation of final surveys
  • Take the lead in EHS compliance, including the review and update of management plans


What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you must be a proven professional in the construction and property industry and be hungry to succeed in an ever-growing business. Specifics regarding qualifications and attributes are below:

  • A tertiary qualification in construction or property-related degree with significant experience in property development or project management
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of large-scale developments
  • You will have ambition, leadership and drive to see a team succeed.
  • Strong understanding of early development (concept planning, marketing, finance etc.)
  • Impeccable communication skills and professionalism
  • Ability to oversee all aspects of development, including identifying risks, opportunities for improvements through innovation, revenue, time and cost to extract maximum value.
