THE POSITION:

The Infrastructure Services Division is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team. You will be working across the unit assisting our team with general labouring duties which include plant operating, maintenance and/or construction of roads, footpaths and drainage infrastructure, installing, maintaining & relocating traffic management devices and general maintenance of Council’s civil & built infrastructure. Any experience level will be considered with extensive training and career development opportunities provided.

ESSENTIAL: 

  • SafeWork General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Current Class C Drivers Licence.

DESIRABLE:

  • Current class MR or HR NSW Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience and/or qualifications in labouring on road maintenance and construction projects
  • Certificate III in Civil Construction

SALARY & EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:

  • Permanent position, 76 hours 9-day fortnight
  • This position is a Grade B, salary range is $ 58,484 p.a. with progression to $ 62,949 p.a. on demonstrated competencies, with performance progression to $ 68,468 p.a, plus 11.5% Super
