Operational Team Leader
Rate: $62.66 per hour plus super!
Types: Temporary, 3 months (Potential extension)
Hours: Full-time , 7 hours a day, 35 hours a week
Location: Gosford. Hybrid Options

Your new role

  • Manage and lead a team by allocating and coordinating workflows and identifying best practices to ensure service delivery standards are met.
  • Support assessments of complex grant applications to meet eligibility requirements.
  • Attend meetings with representatives of the Grants Manual Assessment Team.
  • Conduct complex enquiries, assess eligibility, investigate and adhere to compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and review documentation such as work instructions and reports.
  • Develop and support your team members through coaching and training to build capability and improve performance to ensure service standards are met.
  • Contribute and support project deliverables.
  • Communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Source, collate and compile data and other information.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience as a team leader, operational team leader or similar (essential).
  • Previous experience in insurance, banking, claims, grants or similar (highly desirable).
  • Ability to lead a team and manage workloads effectively.
  • Experience with Genesis and Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of eligibility and compliance requirements.
  • Confidence in handling complex enquiries and investigations.
  • Skilled in writing clear reports and work instructions.
  • Ability to coach and support team members.
  • Experience contributing to projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to gather, analyse, and present data.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and best practices.
