Your new role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of technology projects. Your duties will include developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and budgets, coordinating resources, and ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed scope and high standards. You will manage project risks, issues, changes, and develop contingency plans as needed. Additionally, you will monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines and budget, and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Communication with stakeholders, including team members, clients, and senior management, will be a key part of your role. You will also ensure that cybersecurity protocols are integrated into all project phases to safeguard against potential threats. A key responsibility will be to uplift the cybersecurity posture from level 1 to level 2 and manage vendors effectively. This role requires you to be in the office five days a week.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment and produce quality work within tight timeframes, sometimes with conflicting priorities. Building strong working relationships with leaders, including the Executive, and working with other business leaders to ensure support for successful project deployment is essential. You will also need to ensure strong stakeholder engagement internally and externally, aligning branch offerings to business needs and delivering service excellence. A solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices will be crucial to protect the organization's digital assets and maintain the integrity of its technology projects. Experience in managing vendors and uplifting cybersecurity posture from level 1 to level 2 is essential.
