Mechanical Tradesperson

Government role based in Cunderdin requires a Mechanical Tradesperson.

Your new role

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Performing scheduled and unscheduled (breakdown) maintenance in water/wastewater systems and installing electrical and instrumentation components.
• Performing planned maintenance overhauls of all mainline split case pumps
• Performing complex isolation shutdowns
• Carrying out maintenance tasks and problem-solving (knowledge of complex water treatment and chemical dosing systems is required)
• Appropriate planning and preparation for maintenance projects on isolated assets

What you'll need to succeed

• Positive can-do attitude

• Experience in a similar role

• Mechanical trade certificate (fitter/mechanist/turner)

• Experience with chemical systems

• Ability to participate in standby rosters and be available to travel (once trained)

• WA 'MR' Class Driver's License

• Relevant High-Risk Licenses
