Your new role

As a Revenue Liaison Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Engage with patients and families in hospital to discuss payment options and amounts.
  • Provide clear and compassionate communication regarding billing processes.
  • Discuss options for patients who are not eligible for Medicare benefits.
  • Maintain strong relationships with families, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Manage billing and payment records accurately.
  • Coordinate with hospital administration to ensure seamless billing operations.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining a relationship with healthcare providers
  • Full training provided

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with billing processes and patient liaison duties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and compassion when dealing with families.
  • Assertiveness and confidence in handling payment discussions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and be on your feet for at least 50% of your day.
  • Long-term availability (no Working Holiday Visas).
  • Candidates must be able to start immediately.
