Your new role
With an established production site operating in the south of the state, Polyfoam Westbury will be commencing operations in June, and they are seeking an experienced Transport Worker to join their team. Reporting to the Factory Manager, in this role you’ll be responsible for:
- Conducting customer deliveries in the north of the state
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Fork lift operation in the warehouse as well as within the manufacturing plant
- Manual handling
- Assisting with delivery planning and scheduling
- Maintaining a clean work environment as well as conducting pre-start checks.
What you'll need to succeed
You are an experienced truck driver and fork-lift operator with excellent communication skills and a focus on exceptional customer service. You can adeptly load and unload trucks and understand the importance of working with fragile products. A can-do, reliable operator, you are adaptable to utilise your forklift skills within the manufacturing site as well.
To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid HC drivers licence with a clean record and have experience driving a semi-trailer. You must also hold a current fork-lift licence.
