This prominent authority within the Victorian State Government Justice system is seeking a Portfolio Communications Advisor on a part-time basis (4 days per week) to sit within their strategic communications team to help develop, deliver and evaluate communications plans and campaigns across a broad range of school programs and initiatives. The Communications Adviser supports the delivery of best-practice and evidence-based communications to bring the Education State narrative to our staff and the broader public. You will assist in coordinating, developing and evaluating communication strategies and campaigns, coordinate procurement in accordance with the Department’s and public sector communications guidelines, including advertising and assisting in managing key client relationships across the Department. This role will run until the end of June, working part-time out of Melbourne CBD.
What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstarted strategic communications and stakeholder management background is essential

• Exceptional ability to plan, organise, and prioritise competing requests is required
• Proven track-record working within State, Federal or Local Government is highly regarded
• Demonstrated background in written communication with the capability of writing for a range of audiences
