Power App Developer

Your new company

Hays Technology is currently partnered with a well-established mining company to appoint an experienced Senior PowerApps Developer to a contract until the end of June.

Your new role

The Power Platform Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) that meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience of implementing solutions with multiple data sources and APIs.

• Implement software solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) that meet business requirements
• Firm understanding of implementing solutions with multiple data sources (APIs / Snowflake)
• Collaborate with other power platform specialists and the Integration & Application Architect
• Compile and implement application development plans
• Write scripts and code for applications, as well as install and update applications
• Run diagnostic tests and perform debugging procedures
• Perform application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration
• Document application development processes, procedures, and standards
• Integrate trends in application architecture in application development projects

What you'll need to succeed

• A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Power Platform Specialist, preferably in a related industry

• Highly proficient in programming languages
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Superb organisational and time management skills
• Great collaboration and communication skills
• Experience with Jira/Confluence and Agile Methodology
• Mining industry experience or climate-related experience is favourable.
