Hays are currently partnering one of Victoria’s most prominent residential builders who are seeking an experienced draftsperson to join their team in their retail home space.
Your new role
As a production draftsperson, your key functions and duties will include but not be limited to
Accurately prepare draft sales plans, final sales plans, working drawings and contract plans that incorporate house siting’s, floor plans, elevations, internal drawings, plumbing and slab layouts with a focus on quality and meeting expected timeframes.
Efficiently interact with multiple internal stakeholders including sales consultants, estimators, colour selection consultants and compliance teams to address technical issues and manage deadlines
Production of working construction drawings including reviews and corrections
Problem-solving construction and drafting related matters
Identification of ways to streamline our processes
What you’ll need to be considered
High level of proficiency in Revit
Well-developed construction and problem-solving skills
Construction knowledge of detached housing
NCC and Australian Standards
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a strong team
High attention to detail and accuracy
