Our State Government client is looking for an experienced Project Communications Officer to join their team on a 6-month short-term temporary contract.

Your new role

  • Creating and implementing communication materials and strategies for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Gathering, analysing, and solving information-related problems.

  • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

  • Writing for various communication channels.

  • Facilitating and delivering presentations to groups and individuals.

  • Drafting ministerial correspondence, briefing notes, and responses to Parliamentary questions.

  • Leadership experience and skills are preferred.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in:

  • Creating and implementing communication and stakeholder engagement strategies and materials for complex projects.

  • Drafting correspondence, including ministerial responses, briefing notes, and answers to Parliamentary Questions.

  • Designing and executing community education communication campaigns.

  • Facilitating and delivering presentations to both groups and individuals.

  • A degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or Management is preferred.
