Your new company

Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Internal Audit Advisor to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. The role will be working 5 days per week/ 7.5 hours per day. This position is located within Perth CBD nearby to public transport and parking. The role will be working in a medium-sized and supportive team. Reporting to the Manager of Audit, this role will work closely with two Internal Audit Officers and an Advisor.

Our client is seeking someone to commence as soon as possible. Candidates with notice periods will still be considered.

Your new role

  • Provide a high level of support in governance, risk management, internal audit, quality assurance and best practice advice to stakeholders internally.
  • Plan, execute and lead internal audits across the organisation.
  • Presenting audit findings and providing actionable recommendations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 3–4 years of internal audit experience.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to provide sound judgement, critical thinking, and analytical skills to conduct successful risk, governance, or internal audits.
  • Public sector experience would be a plus.
