The Winu Resource Development team provides support and executes technical deliverables related to the resource development and exploration assessment of Rio Tinto’s Winu Copper project in the Paterson region of Western Australia. Our multi-faceted work programmes integrate with internal and external stakeholders to assess, evaluate and develop the Winu project into a world-class deposit, and we ensure our work streams are coordinated and executed to deliver relevant orebody knowledge and meet broader development plans. The Supervisor – Geology position(s) are based in Winu, on a set 15 days on, 13 days off roster.
Reporting to the Superintendent Resource Geology – Winu – you will deliver best practice outcomes for RTC’s field programmes. You will utilise your technical and operational experience to safely assist in multi-faceted programmes, develop and mentor junior geologists and play a key role in service provider contract management. Where you will be working
You will operate on a fly-in – fly-out roster based from Perth. Our Resource Development team is largely field based at our Winu project where we enjoy a friendly and welcoming high-standard camp with en-suite accommodation and multiple amenities to make work life relaxing and fulfilling.
