The Opportunity

You will be responsible for gaining experience and qualifications necessary to
be able to confidently undertake civil engineering works in the area of works
strategic planning, construction and maintenance.

The position requires the individual to develop skills over time to be able to
achieve the next level of employment as a Project Manager / Civil Engineer.
Please note - this position is for a Cadet role, experienced and qualified
Engineers are not suitable for this role.

About Yourself

You will need to have completed a Secondary Education to a Grade 12 level
with an ATAR capable of gaining entry to the above-mentioned course at a
tertiary institution or having already commenced the above-mentioned course
at a tertiary institution, OR be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience.

It is also highly desirable for the successful candidate to have

(1) Current C Class Driver's Licence
(2) Undertake and complete a Bachelor of Engineering Science (Civil) course
from a recognised University 
(3) Completing an Associate Diploma/Degree may be undertaken in the first instance after consultation with the Senior Works Manager
