We are looking for two skilled and motivated Bitumen Sprayers
to lead our Bitumen crews.
As the Team Leaders for Bitumen Maintenance at Armidale Regional Council, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our road networks. You'll be responsible for the safe and effective operation of a Heavy Rigid Bitumen Maintenance Truck. Your leadership skills will be essential as you guide a team of workers, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
About You
Experience in operating and maintaining heavy machinery, particularly a Heavy Rigid Bitumen Maintenance Truck, is essential. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including routine maintenance, all while ensuring safety and environmental standards are met. Strong leadership skills are crucial, as you'll be guiding a team and working independently when needed. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high-quality customer service are also key, as you'll be interacting with both internal.
You will come to work with a ‘can do’ attitude and a preparedness to ‘walk the talk’.
