We are looking for a skilled Grader Operator to lead our Grader
crew.
As a Team Leader Grader Operator at Armidale Regional Council, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our region's unsealed roads. You'll lead a dedicated team, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within set timeframes. Your responsibilities will include operating graders, managing gravel re-sheeting projects, and performing minor maintenance on equipment. You'll also liaise with quarry staff, implement traffic controls, and maintain accurate records.
About You
You utilise your extensive grader operation skills and your keen eye for detail to ensure that every project is completed to the highest standards. Strong leadership skills are crucial, as you'll be guiding a team and working independently when needed. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high-quality customer service are also key, as you'll be interacting with both internal and external clients.
You will come to work with a ‘can do’ attitude and a preparedness to ‘walk the talk’.
