Waste Collections Driver (5 months temporary)

This position provides an efficient and reliable solid waste removal service for the community, including operation of side lift garbage truck, town centre and park bin collection and booked waste service collection.

You will have a HR driver’s licence, a Construction Induction Certificate and ideally, experience or knowledge of waste collection services.  You will have good interpersonal skills, with proven ability to provide quality customer service and work effectively with a team.  You will be enthusiastic and flexible.

Position will work out of both Katoomba and Springwood Depots with various hours of work including 4:30am to 12:45pm or 6:00am to 2:15pm.  

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $59,414 gross per annum
 + early shift allowance
 + adverse working conditions of $2,590 gross per annum 
 +11.5% superannuation 
 + performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary 
 + annual award increase
