This is a great full-time position for someone who is keen to put down the tools and step into a role where they can apply their hands-on experience in a different way.
The Asset Inspector role provides an opportunity for a self-starter to enjoy a balance of office and field work, supporting the maintenance of council infrastructure asset records by carrying out asset inspections and asset
condition surveys. The role will require the ability to, or willingness to learn how to, use Council asset inspection software. We will support the right applicant in gaining training and development within the role.
About You
You will have demonstrated knowledge of asset inspection, including the terms, techniques, and processes involved. Your keen eye for detail will be essential in this role. Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial, coupled with a dedication to continuous improvement and a willingness to embrace change.
Certificate III in Civil construction or a similar discipline will help you to thrive in this role.
You will come to work with a ‘can do’ attitude and a preparedness to ‘walk the talk’.
