We have an exciting opportunity for an Audio Visual Technician to join our team and play a key role in delivering
outstanding events at the Tanks Arts Centre and the Court House Gallery Precinct!
What You Will Do:
As an Audio Visual Technician you will be working as part of a team ensuring all technical equipment and systems run
smoothly across both the Tanks Arts Centre Precinct and the Court House Gallery Precinct. Duties include setting up and
operating sound, vision, and lighting systems for concerts and performances. Building infrastructure for events and
maintaining the Tanks site. Your technical expertise will be key to delivering high-quality events.
What We Are Looking For:
• Certificate III in Live Production, Theatre and Events (Technical Operations) or ability to obtain.
• Extensive industry experience and operating skills in audio, lighting and/or vision systems.
• Current driver’s licence (or ability to obtain) and the ability to drive independently between business locations to
meet operational needs.
• Work safety at heights (or the ability to obtain).
• HRW Licence to operate a boom-type EWP greater than 11 mt (or the ability to obtain)
• HRW Licence to perform Rigging Basic Level (or the ability to obtain).
• A high level of demonstrated operational competency in arts and entertainment production, including lighting, audio and stage mechanics.
• Demonstrated proficiency in arts & entertainment operations and productions with the ability to oversee the total event.
