Treatment Plant.

We have an opportunity for a Trainee Water Operator in Armidale. The successful person will be trained to help our team operate and maintain the Armidale Water Filtration Plant and water reticulation infrastructure.

Duties may include operating and maintaining water treatment plants, monitoring and conducting water testing, and performing sampling and dam surveillance. You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining pumping stations, inspecting reservoirs, and performing grounds maintenance.

As well as learning the on-the-job responsibilities and duties, we will also support you through an Certificate II in Water Industry Operations.

About You

You are a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for learning. With a keen interest in the water industry, you are always eager to expand your knowledge and skills. Your ability to learn quickly and listen effectively allows you to adapt to new challenges and contribute meaningfully to any team. You bring a strong work ethic and valuable experience in related fields, which further enhances your capability to excel in this role.

You will come to work with a ‘can do’ attitude and a preparedness to ‘walk the talk’.
